Intro to action research
Action research is a great way for a prinicipal to continue their own goals of learning and development while at the same time helping their school to improve. By making the time to conduct administrative inquiry principals give themselves a chance to take a step back and become part of the learning process. It shows to teachers around them that learning is not only important for the students and the teachers, but it is also important for administrators. This type of research focuses on problems and issues that affect the faculty. Therefore, the faculty is more motivated and more engaged in conducting a thorough research.
The use of blogs is a great way for educators to communicate to their fellow colleagues their thoughts and ideas as they are analyzing and desegregating the information collected. It is a great tool that will help educators reflect in a manner that others can also learn from.
